Boggle is a timed word game in which players have 3 minutes to find as many words as possible consisting of the letters on the front that are placed on a grid of 16 cubes. When the timer runs out, players compare their lists of words and remove words that more than one player has discovered. Remaining words are awarded points depending on the number of letters they contain. When first published by Parker Brothers in 1972, players had to assemble the 16 letter cubes into a tray, cover the tray, and flip the tray over to remove the cover to reveal the letter cubes. In 1976, Boggle was redesigned to include its now iconic translucent dome, which allowed the letter cubes to be shaken before each game began, making game setup just as exciting as the gameplay itself. THIS EDITION: This vintage bookshelf edition features graphics and components inspired by the 1976 edition, all housed in a stylish linen book. INCLUDES: Fabric lapbook with integrated storage, cube tray with translucent dome, 16 letter cubes, 3-minute sand timer, 2 pencils, and rules.
