Word Splice – a new word forming card game for kids and families. Easy to learn and fun to play. Imagine a card game that is a cross between “Scrabble” and “Rummy”. The deck has 84 letter cards and 6 wild cards. The deck is shuffled and each player starts with 7 cards. The first player decides their turn by keeping the word they want to make from the cards in hand. Wild cards can also complete words. After a turn is over, count the point value of each word in play and add it to the player's score, and that player puts back up to 7 cards. New words get double points! The next player can put their own word or "SPLICE" letters into an existing word to make a new word. Wild cards in play can replace existing letters with new letters, or put a word out and be swapped into the current player's hand. If a player does not have enough cards to pull back up to 7, the final round begins. When each player takes their final turn, the cards they get are subtracted from that player's total score. The person with the most points at the end of the game wins! Additionally, the rulebook includes 5 versions of WORD SPLICE Solitaire. WORD SPICE, a 1-6 player game for kids and families ages 7 and up. Educational and fun. Words for everyone.
