Shuri Castle is the base of politics, diplomacy, and religious ceremonies of the Ryukyu Kingdom, which was unified by Sho Hashi in 1429 and continued for about 450 years. The Seiden was the largest wooden building in the kingdom, and was also called Momurasoe Palace, and was literally the most important building as a symbol of controlling the 100 beaches across the country.
