The castle tower structure is a composite watchtower type double layered two-story castle that was built in 1240 (first year of Ninji), expanded during the change of castle owners, and repaired for three years starting in 1681 (first year of Tenna). The castle was built around this time. The model faithfully reproduces the complex roof shape, uses many roof patterns, and has a laminated structure that makes the Karahafu roof easy to make.
