This model was developed at the request of a top guitar player in Los Angeles who wanted a bridge with the same performance as the VS100, but with the feel and sound of a vintage bridge. The knife edge of the VSV has five small holes on the front that are elongated into an oval shape, eliminating the need for holes and screws, allowing the bridge to return to its original position smoothly, just like the VS100. The sixth hole is of normal size to prevent the bridge from sliding sideways. The bent steel saddles perfectly reproduce the vintage feel and tone, and their shape is set so that the string height adjustment screws do not protrude above the surface of the saddle, ensuring smoother use of the bridge. In addition, the unique string holes drilled into the steel block help stabilize the tuning. The string holes are designed to be not in a straight line to optimize the angle of the strings on the tuning points of the saddles, solving the problems usually found with original vintage bridges.
