``Weimar: Battle for Democracy'' is a card-driven, Euro-style board game inspired by simulation game systems that lets you experience the history and politics of Germany after the birth of the Weimar Republic. In Weimar: Battle for Democracy, players will lead one of the major political parties of the time and work to achieve their respective goals. Political Parties: Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD), Center Party (Zentrum), Communist Party of Germany (KPD), German National People's Party (DNVP) Social democrats and conservatives seek to protect young democracy, and communists and nationalists people try to destroy it. Struggles rage throughout the Republic and in Congress. Over 170 cards depict important events, politicians, and developments of the time. The game is played over a maximum of six rounds, and in each round, players play policy cards, political party cards, time series cards, etc., and debate and events occur based on the contents of the cards. The end conditions for the game range from becoming anarchy, establishing a new government and taking half of the seats, or allowing the Nazis to rise to power. Conservatives must work to avoid falling into these conditions, whereas communists and nationalists would rather actively aim for them.
