1770-1830 Prepare your detailed array of 1/700 scale tall ships for sail-focused combat in the Golden Age of Naval Battleships fighting in the ``Carronade Era''. From highly detailed plastic frigates, brigs, 3rd rate (available for all countries) to highly detailed metal and resin powerful 1st rate, there are plenty of options for battle. It utilizes a unique and innovative initiative system based on the most important elements of yacht-driven combat. Additional rules allow you to fight on the "battle line". You can engage shore batteries, bore them with first-time broadsides, or capture ships with heroic boarding actions. Avoid hazards to navigation such as fog banks, fires, and shipwrecks. This rule allows for field fleets ranging from the smallest gunboats to true wave behemoths to first place warships. Play on a 4' x 3' table or unobstructed floor space. Each ship in Black Sea comes with a ship card detailing its speed, weapons, and other important ratings, allowing you to strategically plan your battles based on its advantages. Build, paint, and play! Assembling and painting the models and watching them live is just as much fun as the game itself. Paints and adhesives are not included.
Product Introduction This box set will suit you with three French Navy 3rd class ships. Constructed from premium 3rd rate plastic sprue, the box includes additional metal parts to build your next famous vessel. All of which appear in the Battle of Trafalgar. Indomptable - Tonant Class 80 - Gunship Indomptable was built in 1788 and saw active service from 1791. On her first engagement in June of The Glorious First, she lost her mast and had to return to Brest. Under the command of Admirable Villeneuve, she went to sea as part of a large fleet bound for the West Indies, but returned to Europe with news of Nelson's arrival there. At the Battle of Cape Finisterre, a fierce artillery exchange was halted by thick fog, a French defect, anchored at Ferrol before the voyage to Cadiz. Admiral Villeneuve, with his command under threat, vowed to meet the British at Cape Trafalgar. At Trafalgar, Indomptable was part of the Spanish line and attracted Collingwood's mainstays HMS Royal Sovereign and HMS Belleisle, HMS Revenge, HMS Dreadnought and HMS Thunderer. With the wind down and out of range, she headed back toward Cadiz, but she was caught by a rescue operation on Bucentaure, which was hitting a reef. The next night, Indomptable was caught in a storm and carried off Cadiz to rocks offshore. It is estimated that only 150 (between 100 and 1400 people) survived the war. Foridable - Her 80-gun Tonnant-class ship of the French Navy Line. She was briefly named Figuieres, but this was restored to Formidable before firing at Toulon on 31 May 1795. She took part in the battles of Argecilas, Cape Finisterre and Trafalgar. She became the main force of the six-ship pioneer Pierre Dumanoir-le-Perry of the French fleet. She was captured by the British on November 4, 1805 at the Battle of Cape Ortegal. Renamed her HMS Brave, she finally entered the service of the Royal Navy in 1816 when it burst into sales. Argonaute - French Navy Rhine 74 gunboat. Under the direction of Villaret des Joyeuse, she took part in an expedition to Saint Domingue in 1802. She took part in the Battle of Trafalgar, but she returned to Cadiz. She was heavily damaged and the British blockade prevented her from leaving port. She was exchanged for the Spanish ship Vensedar in December 1806. At this point, she was changed to Argonauta, but she was never recommended. Safety Warning Product Details Contains model, small parts and essential printed components. It's not a toy. Not suitable for children under 14.
