High quality, "build it yourself" kits are generally suitable for assembling multiple throttle cables for motorcycle applications. This is a practical and durable kit for assembling multiple throttle cables for your custom chopper, unique classic, show project, or vintage race bike. The conduit is spiral-wound steel covered with durable black PVC. The inner liner is Teflon coated for smooth action and zero maintenance. The wire is made of galvanized steel, long life and easy to solder.
High quality, "build it yourself" kits are generally suitable for assembling multiple throttle cables for motorcycle applications. The wire must be cut to length, and the necessary nipples are put in place. Please note: We highly recommend using a propane type torch to run the solder onto the wires. This can overheat the wire and cause it to become brittle and break. It is recommended that the ends of the wires be immersed in a bath of molten solder, such as in a soldering pot. Ferrules and adjusters provide a snug fit. Can be glued if necessary. You can also make small indents on the sides with a center punch. Kit includes: 5 meters (15 feet) of Teflon line 5mm OD black PVC coated, spiral wound conduit. 5 meters (15 feet) of 1.5mm outer diameter galvanized steel wire (7 x 7 strands). 10 ferrules, 1/4" outside diameter. 20 ferrules, outer diameter 5.5mm. 20 ferrules, outer diameter 5.5mm. 1 Mid Adjuster 6mm x 0.75 x 20mm Brass Barrel Nipple, Diameter 5.75mm x 5.5mm. 20 brass carb nipples, 3mm diameter x 3mm. Two common neoprene boots. Inner diameter 14mm. 10 neoprene adjuster boots, 7mm inner diameter.
