Vee Hobby "1/700 U.S. Navy Battleship Missouri BB-63 1945 Deluxe Edition" plastic model. The U.S. Navy battleship Missouri (BB-63) is the third of the Iowa-class battleships. The Missouri, which was launched in 1944, participated in the Battle of Okinawa in World War II, and on September 2, 1945, the Japanese instrument of surrender was signed on her deck. After World War II, she was retired in 1955 after the Korean War, and was commissioned again in 1986. She was decommissioned after participating in the 1991 Gulf War and is preserved as a commemorative ship in Hawaii. The kit has an injection plastic body with decals and etchings for the "regular version", and detail improvement parts for the "deluxe version" and "platinum version". The "Deluxe Edition" and "Platinum Edition" differ in the number of etchings, the number of metal parts, and the presence or absence of masking. This is a wonderful kit that reproduces the appearance of the Missouri during World War II with delicate details as an offshore model. *This product is a plastic model that requires assembly and painting. *Adhesive, tools, paint, etc. are required separately for assembly and painting. *"Plastic model" is a registered trademark owned by the Japan Plastic Model Industry Cooperative.
