The predecessor of Kishu Railway, the Gobo Rinko Railway, began commercial operation in 1931 (Showa 6) with a 1.8 km distance between Gobo Station and Kii-Gobo Station, and in 1972 (Showa 47), it was replaced by Kishu Railway, and the current line is Gobo. This is one of Japan's leading super mini railways, with a distance of 2.7 km between the station and Nishigobo Station. The DB158 diesel locomotive was produced in 1951 by Mori Seisakusho, a company with a proven track record of converting the Yawata Steel Works 15tB tank introduced after the war into a more fuel efficient diesel locomotive due to the soaring price of coal. It became the standard form, commonly known as ``Moributa''. This is a 2-axle diesel locomotive with a jack shaft specification rod, which is the first N gauge powered vehicle. Lights, steps, and mufflers are made into separate parts (installation work required) for each year's body color and each specification. Connection is selectable between Arnold coupler and drawbar hook, and dummy knuckles are also included. In addition, we used realistic 5mm small diameter wheels.
