A 3XL nymph hook with TMC's unique insect curve. Up version of TMC200. It is also used to express aquatic insects with long silhouettes on flies, as well as stone flies and large adult caddis. Randall Kaufman's favorite hook. This is not a typical hook where the winding allowance for the shank begins and ends, so please feel free to use it with your own ideas. Terrestrials also have their uses. A straight-eye nymph and dry fly hook that incorporates a gradually sloping bend to better imitate curved insect bodies. Because this design is 3X-long with a sloping bend, the hook point is semi-dropped for better penetration and holding.
