The TMC226BL is an upgraded version of the TMC206BL, which has a unique curved shank that has many fans, to a wire size suitable for large fish. Along with the change in wire size, we have also reviewed the balance between the shank and gape. This model was coveted by Rene Harrop of Henry's Fork, and the hook color has a standard bronze finish. This hook has a unique organic bend that matches not only hatch match patterns, but also tube fishing flies and keel patterns. Equivalent to 1XF.
