The playing surface is smooth, traditional style crokinole board with a 23.6 inch playing surface. DURABLE AND WELL BUILT: This traditional octagonal style crokinole board is built to last for generations. Side rails are not only glued but also nailed in to last for years. The core is made from MDF with a maple veneer surface to prevent warping in different climates. SMOOTH AND FAST PLAYING SURFACE: Lines, point numbers and checkers are UV printed into the wood for a smoother and faster surface. Latex covered brass posts bounce off and create dynamic gameplay. INCLUDES: 26 small black and natural wood discs for traditional style board (24 needed for the game plus one of each color), disc pouch, 100 grams of fast crokinole powder (put a small amount in the grooves and rub discs before shooting), 20's cup, playing instructions/rules. About the Deluxe Crokinole Board: The Deluxe Crokinole Board is handcrafted in Canada from premium select maple veneer, walnut rails and Baltic birch. It is a very sturdy, well-built board. It is well-weighted and will last for generations. It is a traditional octagonal style Crokinole board with a 28 1/2" diameter and a 23.6" playing surface. On the back is an 8 x 8" checkerboard that can be used for chess or checkers. Your Deluxe Board includes: 26 small discs for the traditional style board - 1 1/8" diameter x 13/32" thick (2.9cm wide x 1cm thick) - 2 extras in case any are lost. Includes 100 grams of Crokinole Board Powder for quick play (put a small amount in the grooves and rub the disc before shooting or sprinkling. A small amount on the playing surface), a velvet drawstring bag for the discs, a big 20's cup, gameplay instructions, rules, tournament and regular scoring cards. Please note: the discs are double-sided flat and tournament standard.
