Tenshock 1:10 Short Course 4 Pole Sensorless RC Car 1/10 Brushless Motor SC401V2-5000KV Winding is different. SC401V2 Tenshock uses "Y" winding. Therefore, the KV is different from the older SC401. This results in a lower idle current. Different rotor. Additionally wrapped in Kevlar to prevent the rotor from cracking even at high RPMs. Low Infrared Connector: Instead of a cable, it plugs directly into the motor to ensure optimal connection between the motor and ESC. Low Heat: Under the same conditions, the temperature is ~ 10% lower.

Description The Tenshock SC401V2 is the successor to the highly successful SC401V1 motor. The stator uses "Y" winding which produces a low idle current. The rotor is now a hand-wound Kevlar unit to ensure reliable performance at any RPM. The lower current allows the V2 to run an average of 10% cooler than the previous V1 version. What remains the same is the 4-pole powerhouse design, housed in a beautiful machined billet aluminum can with extremely low friction bearings and high purity windings. Features: Runs Less Hot: Under the same conditions, temperatures are ~10% lower. New Ager Construction Rotor: Now additionally wrapped with Kevlar to prevent the rotor from cracking at high RPMs. New Low IR Connector: Instead of a cable, we use a plug directly on the motor, providing the best connection between the motor and the ESC. Different KV: There are different KVs to meet your demands.
