RC manga ``Radio Control Boy'' serialized in Shogakukan's ``CoroCoro Comic'' that started in 1983. This is an electric radio control car assembly kit of ``Saint Dragon'', which was the favorite car of the main character ``Shago''. The highly maintainable bathtub frame uses a shaft drive 4WD chassis equipped with double wishbone type 4-wheel independent suspension with CVA oil dampers. Equipped with hollow rubber spike tires with sufficient grip, it can be ridden anywhere from on-road to off-road. The body is made of polycarbonate and has a smooth one-motion form that resembles a dragon's head. It's painted white and has been cut, so just attach the stickers to complete the body. The chassis is a shaft drive 4WD that mounts the motor mid-ship and uses a shaft for power transmission. The RC mechanism is built into the lightweight and strong bathtub frame, and the front and rear gearboxes attached to the suspension are docked for ease of maintenance. The suspension has a simple configuration of upper I-arm and lower H-arm, but it is a double wishbone type 4-wheel independent suspension with excellent ground contact. A total of 4 CVA oil dampers are installed in the front and rear, and the front is equipped with a stabilizer. It runs smoothly even on rough roads. A unit type differential gear is built into the front and rear sealed gear cases. The key point is that it uses an aluminum motor mount that has high precision, rigidity, and excellent heat dissipation. The gear case is made compact to ensure road clearance. Combined with 4WD, it provides excellent drivability on rough roads.
