Tamiya 1/12 Big Scale Series No.46 Team Lotus Type 72D 1972 Plastic Model 12046 A 1/12 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the Lotus Type 72D that brought the championship to Team His Lotus and E. Fittipaldi in 1972. . Finished length: 400mm, width: 173mm, height: 87mm. Realistic model of sharp wedge shape form. The front and rear suspensions using torsion bars have the same structure as the actual vehicle and operate smoothly. The steering wheel and front wheels are linked by a rack and pinion steering mechanism. Ford DFV engine with piping and wiring down to the fuel pipe and ignition cord. The front cowl and cockpit cowl fairings are removable. The front and rear tires are made of textured hollow rubber. Photo-etched parts and seat belt parts are also included to enhance the sense of precision.
