Stonehenge Aqua Coldpress Black is 100% cotton and provides an exciting surface in a suitable size for watercolor painting. Perfect for experimentation, luminous illustrations, and paintings with metallic or pearl paint, ink, and pencil. This paper has excellent wet performance and withstands being wet and dry for long periods of time. Instead of accumulating shadows, it takes advantage of the negative space provided by black surfaces to accumulate light. Lift, blend, and layer colors as needed with plenty of control. Excellent color retention properties keep the color bright even after drying. The rich, black surface is buckle-resistant and durable, with the same surface on both sides.
