The low profile means you don't have to remove a dangerous amount of wood to install this 2-way rod. This means there is less chance of cutting into the truss rod channel when shaping a thin neck. This ingenious dual rod design fits into a straight 1/4" wide x 3/8" deep groove and is adjustable with a smooth rotating 4mm (5/32") Allen nut. Total length 24 inches for bass guitar neck.
