Star Trek The Next Generation Communicator Badge

This is a reproduction of the actual badge used in the filming, one of the few remaining in existence today. An exact replica made from a mold made by an active and front-line technician working on Star Trek film sets. The badges actually used in the series were painted with rosin, but this one is made of metal and has a gold and silver finish, which has been upgraded. In addition, the badge has a magnetic clasp that fastens the badge by pinching it against clothing, eliminating the need for pins or pinholes in clothing.
