Comes with high quality quick connectors (4 wire taps). No need to cut wires, no soldering required. All connections can be made either under the fuel tank, in the ECU box, or behind the instrument cluster. 1.The ignition key must be in the OFF position. Remove the seat and lift and support the fuel tank 2. Locate the speed sensor coupler. A. Most motorcycles have a speed sensor installed in the gearbox. Some have sensors mounted on the front or rear wheels. B. Follow the cable until you find the speed sensor coupler. It is a 3-pole connector. Check: Separate the speed sensor coupler. Leave the ignition on and rotate the wheels. The speedometer should read 0. If so, turn off the ignition, reconnect the coupler and proceed to the next step. Otherwise, if the speedometer registers a non-zero speed, you did not disconnect the correct coupler and should look again. ABS models: Some bikes equipped with ABS do not have a speed sensor. The speed signal is generated by the ABS computer. On these bikes, tap the speed signal wire between the ABS computers. And ECU box. Please refer to your bicycle's service manual for wiring information. 3. Connect the black wire from the Jefy's Hip to the sensor's ground wire using the included red wire tap connector.
