Locate the speed sensor coupler. The speed sensor (wheel sensor) is located on the top of the gearbox or on the front wheel. The three-prong black speed sensor coupler is usually accessed by raising the fuel tank. Verify: Separate the speed sensor coupler (you may need to use a small flathead screwdriver to separate the coupler). Rotate the front wheels with the ignition on. When the speedometer reaches 0, turn off the ignition and proceed to the next step. Otherwise, you've cut something else, so try again. 3. Locate the ECM (also known as ECU) box. This is a flat box with one or more multi-pin connectors under the seat. 4. Locate the RPM signal wire at the ECM connector. Sprint RS/ST Blue/Black (Blue Solid Wire with Thin Black Stripe) Crankshaft Sensor Wire. You can tap either a 2-pole sensor plug or an ECM. All other models have red (plain color with no stripes) tach signal wire. Or tap the wire from the crankshaft sensor (blue/purple), either the 2-pole sensor plug or his ECM. 5. Peel off the black sleeve (tape) to expose approximately 3 cm (1.2 inches) of this wire. 6. Use the red wire tap to connect the black/green wire from the Jeefy's Hips to this wire.
