Steps: This module needs to be set up after installation. Perform setup only when the engine is warm and idle speed is normal. Find a long, straight road with little traffic. The unit never learns the same gear twice, making it easy to set up. You can also downshift and stop during setup if you wish. Don't stare at the display and always drive with your eyes on the road! Turn on the ignition. The display will count backwards (from 6 to 1) to indicate that the memory is clear. -When "L" is flashing, put the engine in neutral and let it idle. -"1" will flash on the display. Select first gear, release the clutch, and keep the RPMs above idle speed. The display will flash faster while the unit is learning the gears. -When "2" appears on the display, select 2nd speed.
