185 degree thermo switch (stainless steel 3/8 inch pipe thread).
The SPAL cooling fan switch has a 3/8" NPT thread in a stainless steel sealed body. The heat fan screws into the intake manifold or cylinder head and activates a relay (sold separately) when the bulb is immersed in 185 degrees Fahrenheit or 195 degrees Fahrenheit coolant. Once the engine has cooled down, the contacts on the fan relay switch open and the fan automatically shuts off. Make sure the electric fan switch bulb is submerged in hot engine coolant. Non-adjustable radiator fan sensor operating switch range: 35°F to 480°F. Maximum Current & Voltage: 3 Amps, 32VDC grounded case only.
