The 2019 model has been upgraded with 850+ down, ultra-lightweight 7D & 10D fabric, and added space around the shoulders. It has been the choice of thru-hikers, cycle tourers and those looking for maximum warmth in a compact size. For backcountry enthusiasts and non-fans of cramped sleeping bags, the Ember has options to suit a wide range of temperatures and environments. When the temperature is high, you can use Ember as a comforter to free up your hands and feet, and when the temperature is low, you can tighten the drawcord at the feet and use the straps and buttons to secure the mat in place to minimize heat loss. To make it as light and compact as possible, we used down-proof 10D fabric for the shell, 7D fabric for the lining, and 850+ Premium Goose Ultra Dry Down. Not only does it provide superior warmth and compression, it also resists loft loss due to atmospheric moisture and bad weather. Two sizes are available for each of the three models.
