Three series of Horadam transparent watercolors are available in limited quantities: Deep Sea, Glacier, and Galaxy. The combination of at least two pigments emphasizes the "super granulating" effect. These colors are composed of pigments of different hues so that the granulation effect can be achieved by further color changes. For example, "Deep Sea Indigo" is a combination of violet and green pigments, and "Glacier Brown" is a combination of brown and green pigments. These new colors (of natural structure) change depending on the support and the amount of water. Also, the rougher the paper, the greater the granulation effect. This special Horadam color is only available in tubes and has a lightfastness of 4 to 5, and the transparency is mainly translucent and semi-opaque.
