The Edelbrock/Russell Speed Bleeder replaces the original bleeder valves on the caliper and wheel cylinder with a spring-loaded one-way ball and check valve. This unique check ball design lets out old fluid and air and can automatically close between the pumps, preventing old fluid and air from entering the line. A special coating on the speedbleeder thread prevents air from entering the system and does not allow air or liquid to escape. Check ball is centerless ground 410 stainless steel to prevent corrosion and galling. The patented thread sealing system not only diverts air and moisture during thread joining, but also prevents air from returning to the system during bleeding.
