[Ariete Fork Oil Seal, Fork Dust Seal] Normally, fork oil seals are made of a material called NBR because it is relatively inexpensive and easy to obtain, but Ariete has developed a material that is resistant to wear and tear. We use "XNBR", which has superior properties, with approximately 1.5 to 3 times the strength and high sealing properties of NBR. Furthermore, since XNBR uses a compound with excellent sealing properties and high adhesion, we have developed a new product to solve the dilemma that the higher the surface precision on the inner tube side, the more it will warp and increase friction. Adopted ARISIL special oil seal lubricant (grease). The superiority of this grease is proven by the fact that it has received US Mil-Spec certification and is used as a lubricant for many mechanisms in NASA space programs.
