The Kiha 125 type is a vehicle that operates on the Nagasaki Main Line, which connects Saga Station to Nishi-Karatsu Station, and the Chikuhi Line, which connects the Karatsu Line and Imari Station to Nishi-Karatsu Station. The "Romancing Saga" collaboration project between Saga Prefecture and Square Enix's RPG series "Saga" has been carried out continuously since 2014, and from October 2022, seven vehicles belonging to the Karatsu Vehicle Center and The ``Romancing Saga Train'' runs on nine Kiha 47-type vehicles, all of which are decorated with game characters and scenic spots in Saga Prefecture.
