This output selector allows you to mute the microphone's output to the main PA with a foot switch, allowing you to communicate with other musicians and staff through a monitor system or in-ear monitors. Designed specifically for dynamic microphones, it is passive and does not require a power source. The foot switch is momentary, and the output destination changes only while it is pressed. In addition to using it as an intercom for the microphones on the audience side, it is also useful for muting when you need to clear your throat. This is a genuine domestic import.
