This is an active DI box that is portable in size. It's compact enough to fit into your guitar case, so you can always carry it with you and connect it to your PA. This device does not require batteries or a dedicated power source. Uses 48V phantom power from the mixer. You can use it immediately after connecting it. You can also connect a guitar amplifier to the built-in tuner terminal. While monitoring the sound from the amplifier on stage, you can also send the signal to the PA at the same time. If your guitar sound is distorted, use the PAD switch to reduce the input sensitivity by 15dB. It is also equipped with a PHASE switch, which is useful when you want to reduce feedback on stage.
