Operation Spring Awakening was launched by the German side in March 1945 with the aim of retaking Budapest in Hungary and securing oil fields that had fallen into the hands of the Russian Red Army. Although it was not actually possible, the key to the success of this operation was to cross the Danube River. We have reproduced a set of four German armed SS grenadiers preparing for battle heading for the Danube River. These grenadiers, equipped with equipment from the latter half of the war, can also be used in dioramas depicting the Battle of the Bulge. This is a set of figure sets "RDM35012" and "RDM35050". This set is a little cheaper than buying them individually.
