Some designs and specifications may differ from the actual product. Race Face offers suitable chainrings for those wanting to switch to 1x10, 1x11 or 1x12 drives suitable for 104mm cranks. These chainrings are CNC machined from one block of aluminum 7075-T6 and then anodized. With a material thickness of 4mm, it achieves extremely high rigidity. To eliminate the need for a chain guide, these chainrings are manufactured with alternating thick and narrow teeth (Narrow-Wide) in a manner similar to SRAM's X-Sync system. Often combined with SRAM Type 2/3 or Shimano Shadow+ derailleurs, you can avoid using a chain guide. However, only 30T chainrings have a slight offset of the chainline to the frame by design and are used for attachment with chainring bolts.
