R&F Pigment Sticks
R&F Pigment Sticks - Pigment Sticks are handcrafted oil painting sticks that are soft and richly colored pigments. They have the hard wax texture of paint and thick leatherback skin that makes them sticks. Pigment sticks can be used directly on canvas without control. They are firm enough to hold the paint in place while still holding it in place when you use a brush, knife, or other tools. Pigment sticks, like oil paints, dry to a durable flexible film. They contain refined linseed oil, natural wax, pigments and can be used alone or in combination with oil paints. R&F Pigment Sticks, like other brands, dry naturally without a dryer, slower than other brands. We have regular sizes, 38ml, measuring 3/4 x 5 inches. We also have large sticks, available in Naples Yellow, Black, White and Vibrant Yellow. Large sizes are 188ml, measuring 1-1/2 x 6-1/2 inches. "These sticks are photographed so you can see what's going on in them. They look just like the real sticks.
