This is a reproduction of a wing roof type trailer created by Platts with the help of Ken Craft, which is well-versed in construction machinery and utilizing its past know-how. This trailer is manufactured by TREX, a company that manufactures various types of trailers and trucks in Japan, and is widely used because it is more efficient at loading and unloading cargo than trailers or containers with box-shaped loading beds. The cargo area is made of plastic, and the corrugated shape of the wing panel and the difference in design of the side panel below it are well reproduced. Even the details of the fasteners that hold the wing panels in place are expressed with the delicacy that can only be achieved with plastic. The frame is made of die-cast and is not only strong but also has enough weight. The rear two-axle suspension shape and axle layout are also modeled. The front landing gear is extendable. When combined with a tractor, it can be displayed in the stored state, and when displayed on the trailer alone, it can be displayed in the stretched state. This model is entirely silver with white rear door panels. The TREX logo is also reproduced on the tire mud flap and body.
