■Characteristics of ironware teapots Nanbu ironware, a traditional craft from Iwate Prefecture with a history of 900 years, has a rustic and warm texture, and its texture increases with use. Iron teapots have excellent heat retention due to the high heat storage properties of the material, and the inside is finished with careful enameling. ■Care before and after first use - Wash the inside of the pot and tea strainer thoroughly with cold or lukewarm water, and rinse thoroughly before use.・To remove moisture from the outside of the pot, use a soft, highly absorbent cloth to absorb moisture by pressing it against the pot.・After use, wash thoroughly with cold or lukewarm water, absorb the moisture, and then put it away. (Please be careful around the spout, the back of the lid, and the base of the vine, as moisture tends to remain and cause rust. * Iron rust is harmless, so there is no health or hygiene hazard if you continue to use it. )・If there is tea stain on the inside, please wash it with a sponge and neutral detergent. ■Handling Precautions a. The pot will be very hot during and immediately after use, so please be careful not to get burned. b. Please be careful not to fall if you end up in a high place. c.
