MSD 32813 Black 8.5mm Super Conductor Spark Plug Wire Set

Copper alloy conductor has a resistance of less than 50 ohms per foot for superior sparking. Iron magnetic impregnated core creates an effective EMI choke. 40 feet of conductor wrapped around 1 foot of wire for high EMI suppression. The conductor core uses Dupont Kevlar material to improve tensile strength. The durable outer sleeve is a proprietary compound that resists high heat and abrasion. Stainless steel terminals have dual crimp tabs that grip the wire conductor and outer jacket separately.

MSD 8.5 Mm Superconductor Wire is a performance wire. Designed from the inside out, the 8.5 offers everything you've ever wanted in a wire. Incredibly low resistance without electronic interference. The superconductor wire has a length of 12 inches and only has a resistance of 40-50 ohms. This is the lowest resistance of spirally wound wire. To achieve this, we use copper alloy conductors. Excellent voltage carrying capacity. Low resistance means less loss of spark energy reaching the spark plug. The conductor is wrapped very tightly around a special center core. Very tight, over 40 feet of conductor wrapped in 1 foot of plug wire. This winding procedure, combined with a Ferro-magnetic impregnated center core, creates a highly effective electromagnetic interference (EMI) choke.
