The shiny polymer sheath is decorated with the Dalarna shield, and the included Swedish vegetable-tanned leather belt strap is designed to last for generations. Carbon steel can be used for a long time due to its ease of sharpening, but it is prone to rust, so be sure to wipe the blade and apply oil after each use. The classic series has been renewed. The belt loop is now made of leather, and the handle is also painted a natural red that makes it easier to see the wood grain.
