Problem Solver powder metal gusher bearing design allows grease to flow through the bearing onto the stud, reducing friction and increasing strength and stability. Problem Solver's patented cover plate design allows for tighter tolerances than traditional cover plate designs, providing stronger, longer-life parts. Full ball metal studs provide 36 degrees of smooth, consistent rotational action for more responsive steering. Belleville washer preload provides low torque and stud articulation with minimal axial clearance. Enlarging the ball joint receptacle on the control arm can loosen the ball joint. Moog Problem Solver design includes an oversized housing for a more secure fit. Greasable socket design allows new lubricant to flush contaminants from the assembly, reducing corrosion and wear.
