Problem Solver's patented cover plate design allows for tighter tolerances than traditional cover plate designs, providing stronger, longer-life parts. A dedicated cover plate prevents contaminants from escaping onto the bearing surface. Moog's engineered steel construction provides stronger components. Full ball metal studs provide 36 degrees of smooth, consistent rotational action for more responsive steering. Enlarging the ball joint receptacle on the control arm can loosen the ball joint. Moog Problem Solver design includes an oversized housing for a more secure fit. Greasable socket design allows new lubricant to flush contaminants from the assembly, reducing corrosion and wear.
