With years of oil catch research and development, Mishimoto has created the most effective oil catch cans on the market. The patent-pending Mishimoto XL Baffle Oil Catch Can is designed to separate oil particles from the PCV/CCV air that would normally have just returned to the intake. Internal air diverter valve increases air turbulence and ensures all oil sinks to the bottom of the can, leaving only clean air passing through a 50 micron bronze filter. Internal baffles prevent oil collected under race conditions from splashing out. This oil catch features two ports, one inlet and one outlet for easy installation into CCV and PCV systems. The Mishimoto XL Baffle Oil Catch Can features 7. 5.7 oz capacity for bulk blow-by collections and extended service intervals on any vehicle. 100% billet, 6061 aluminum can features M16 x 1. 5 threads in inlet, outlet, and drain areas. Includes two black anodized CNC machined aluminum fittings for easy installation. Our catch cans are sealed with Viton O-Rings to ensure all caught blow-by stays inside the can. The top mount configuration allows you to mount the from multiple angles for maximum fit options. For easier maintenance, remove the drain plug and return to the oil pan. Additionally, this can is 100% washable. Many other cans require the filter system to be replaced. Our catch can differs from most air-oil separator (AOS) systems on several levels. First, our catch cans are not heated. That means all the blow-by can condense on the can containing low octane oil vapors and contaminated fuel vapors. Most AOS systems also drain blowby back into the oil pan, and our catch cans trap the blowby and keep it permanently out of the engine. If you've seen what's at the bottom of our catch cans, you don't want it to go back to oil.
