Directly fits your 2010-2015 Chevrolet Camaro SS and installs in less than 30 minutes. A fully serviceable billet 6061 aluminum single can is installed along the PCV system and uses a 50 micron bronze filter to separate oil from air. The rugged, purpose-built bracket mounts the can in a serviceable location away from most intake and supercharger kits and works with the stock air/oil separator for maximum engine protection. The LS3 engine fitted to the 5th generation Camaro SS produces an impressive 400+ horsepower from 8 cylinders. But those eight cylinders produce something a little more impressive: blowby. Oil, fuel, and other combustion byproducts pass past the piston rings on each stroke. If left unchecked, that blowby will flow into the Camaro's intake and rob the engine of power and efficiency. Includes Mishimoto 2010-15 Camaro SS Direct Fit Catch Can Kit. Our catch cans feature an air diverter and internal baffles to slow incoming air and condense oil and fuel vapors. To further prevent air bubbles from escaping, the catch can outlet features a 50 micron bronze filter. This kit does not allow blown steam to return to the air intake. This catch attaches to your Camaro via a custom-designed bracket that fits without drilling or cutting. Direct fit line with quick disconnect fitting. Our catch can is a little different than most air oil separator (AOS) systems. First, our catch cans are not heated. This means that all blow-by, including low-octane oil vapors and contaminated fuel vapors, can condense inside the can. Also, while most AOS systems drain blowby back into the oil pan, a catch can traps blowby and permanently drains it from the engine. If you've seen what we saw at the bottom of our catch can, you don't want it draining into the oil either.
