We are pleased to release a new line of direct fit 2015 Mustang parts, including the Mishimoto Mustang EcoBoost Baffle Oil Catch Can. We logged thousands of miles on the Mustang EcoBoost to determine what works best. Mishimoto engineers have found that for most vehicles, placing a catch can in the vehicle's vacuum-assisted PCV system causes the most oil to accumulate during normal and aggressive driving. With the catch placed in the crankcase vent system on the left side of the engine, there is little build-up on stock or minor vehicles. With only one catch tied to the PCV system, it's perfect for the EcoBoost Mustang. The Mishimoto Mustang EcoBoost Catch Can Kit uses a patent-pending Mishimoto 2-port compact baffled oil catch can with a 50 micron bronze filter with internal baffling to separate oil from PCV vapors. Kit includes two direct fit hoses with pre-assembled quick disconnect fittings to simplify installation. Not only is it super easy to install, it also includes one direct fit mounting bracket to attach the can to any serviceable location on your EcoBoost Mustang. Two CNC machined aluminum, 1/2" barb fittings connect the hose to the can. Like all Mishimoto EcoBoost Mustang parts, this baffle catch can kit comes with a Mishimoto Lifetime. Our catch can differs from most air-oil separator (AOS) systems in several steps. First, our catch cans are not heated. This means that all the blow-by, including low-octane oil vapors and contaminated fuel vapors, can condense into the can. Also, most AOS systems drain blowby into the oil pan, and our catch can traps blowby and permanently drains it from the engine. If you've ever seen what's on the bottom of our catch cans, there's no need for water to get into the oil.
