Triple compound composition. The 3C MaxxTerra compound offers more traction than the 3C MaxxSpeed, better treadwear and lower rolling resistance than MaxxGrip, making it an ideal tire for trail riding in all conditions. EXO: EXO is a cut- and abrasion-resistant material used in the sidewalls of Maxxis mountain bike and gravel tires. This densely woven fabric is lightweight, flexible and does not affect tire performance. Choose EXO protection for enhanced durability for gravel, cross-country and light-duty trail riding. TR (Tubeless Ready): Tubeless tires have many benefits for riders, including the ability to run at lower air pressures for better traction, lower rolling resistance than tube-type tires, and no tubes so they are less prone to punctures. Tubeless ready tires are designated by the letters "TR" on the sidewall. Tubeless tires must be mounted on tubeless-compatible rims and require the use of a liquid sealant to maintain air pressure. Liquid sealants are effective at sealing small punctures. Sealants dry out over time, so check them regularly and replace them if necessary.

A continuous center lug reduces rolling resistance in a straight line, and an abrupt lug on the outside of the tire helps grip turns. An EXO protective layer protects against flats and sidewall tears to keep you rolling over rockin' trails, while a 3C compound pairs hard and soft rubber for durability and low rolling resistance.
