Product Introduction Waluigi is a very tall skinny rival of Luigi and partner of Wario. Waluigi debuted in Mario Tennis and has since made playable appearances in spin-off titles in the Mario series. Since his debut, he has been voiced by Charles Martinet. His name comes from the Japanese words Warui and Luigi, meaning "bad" and "Luigi". Details of Waluigi's past are unclear as there is no confirmed background, and although he was clearly cross with the Mario Brothers, especially Luigi, it is a fairly short time before he and Luigi met each other, as seen in the opening of Mario Tennis.
