LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Intelligent Brick

The third generation LEGO EV3 Intelligent Brick has a much more powerful ARM-9 processor than the previous generation NXT Intelligent Brick. It runs on the Linux OS. The open source software gives advanced users a very flexible system for hacking and modification. The EV3 software, not included, is freely downloadable from LEGO.com. It is a programming language with a friendly, graphical design based on National Instruments' LabView. Apps for Apple IOS and Android OS smartphones and tablets are also available, giving you even more control and possibilities with the LEGO EV3. The LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Intelligent Brick is a great and powerful tool for beginners to learn how to program for advanced users to create fairly sophisticated robotic systems.
