The future of Rokugan is balanced with the Temptation Cycle in Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Games. As the dark army moves on, all Rokugan become fascinated by the forbidden art of Mahou, which requires fate to escape from the player's own character. A new keyword at hand, dire, triggers when the character has no fate. Like previous cycles, every Dynasty Pack in this cycle offers 60 new cards. Each of the seven Great Clans of Rokugan can be split between Stone Hall, District, Dynasty, and Conflict decks.

Rokugan's future is balanced with the legendary Olympic Temptation Cycle. As the Black Army moves through Rokugan, all clans are tempted to double down on Maho's forbidden techniques. This requires the player to spend fate from his own character. If you hold this in your hand, a new keyword, Dire, will appear, which will be triggered if your character has no fate. Like previous cycles, every Dynasty Pack in this cycle offers 60 new cards. Each of Rokugan's seven great clans has new options, split between Strong, District, Dynasty, and Conflict decks.
