La Carte Pastel Paper An outstanding surface for pastel artists. Extremely finely ground pH neutral vegetable flakes are applied by hand to 200 lb neutral board stock for a slightly abrasive texture with perfectly even tooth. Unlike sandpaper, La Carte Pastel Card was originally created specifically for pastel artists, so it offers excellent pigment adhesion without the aggressiveness of sanded paper, while still being firmly archival and highly fade-resistant. Made in France. Not recommended for strictly dry pastels with wet technique surface.
