● Kyo-yaki/Kiyomizu-yaki tea bowl (rice bowl) ● Kiyomizu-yaki is one of Kyoto's representative traditional crafts, and originally referred to the pottery that was fired at the kilns in the Kiyomizu-zaka area on the way to Kiyomizu-dera Temple. -Hand-drawn designs have a three-dimensional feel that is not found in printed ones, and the features and designs have a Kyoto-like feel. -The name Kochi refers to colored glazed ceramics made in southern China. It is said to have originated from the fact that it was brought to Japan by cross-toed ships.It is a kiln that specializes in the cross-toed technique, and uses not only traditional colors but also its own developed glazes.It is characterized by its vivid colors and detailed patterns.
