Size/total height 11. Kiyosumi, worshiped the morning sun in the eastern sky, and recited the daimoku. It was here that he first established a sect of Nichiren. He then built a hermitage in Matsubagaya, Kamakura, wrote Rissho Ankokuron, and presented it to the shogunate, but he was exiled to Ito, Izu, because he thought he would mislead the people. He was later pardoned, but as he continued to mock the legal principles of each sect and attack the shogunate, he was once again exiled to Sado. After being pardoned, he entered Kai and lived in Mt.
