Sho Kannon Bodhisattva (Kanjizai Bodhisattva) He is in charge of the virtue of great compassion of the Tathagata, observes the various dharma as the figure of Amida Tathagata during his training period, and has the freedom to eliminate suffering and yoraku, hence the name Kanjizai. It is also called Kanzeon because everyone can instantly hear the sound and attain liberation. In other words, it is the principal image that represents the virtue of the Tathagata's great compassion, and because it is immeasurable, it is called the Buddha of Infinite Life. Since this bodhisattva's main vow is great sorrow and salvation, he is worshiped along with the six Kannons (Thousand Arms, Eleven Masks, Nyoirin, Junsei, and Bato) and the Thirty-Three Kannons (explained in the Lotus Sutra Fumon Articles). Alternatively, he becomes a side attendant of Amida Tathagata along with Seishi Bodhisattva.
